Installing a Windows 2000 Printer Driver:

1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.
2. Select the Printers entry from the Settings menu.
3. Double-click the Add Printer icon.
4. Click the Next button.
5. Determine how your printer is connected; if it is a local or network printer.
6. Click the Next button.
7. Choose the Port you want to print from.
8. Click the Next button.
9. Click the Have Disk button.
10. Put the Driver Disk into the drive a:.
11. Change directories to Win2k.
12. Highlight the printer name and click the Open button.
13. Click the OK button.
14. Highlight the corresponding Eltron printer model.
15. Click the Next button.
16. Choose if you want the printer to be your default printer or not.
17. Click the Next button (do not change the printer name).
18. Choose if you want to share this printer or not.
19. Click the Next button.
20. Choose No (do not print a test page).
21. Click the Next button.
22. Make sure the printer is setup correctly.
23. Click the Finish button.
24. At the Digital Signature Not Found window, click yes to continue with the installation.

1. Select the Settings entry from the Start menu.

4. Click the Next button.
5. Determine how your printer is connected.
6. Click the Next button.

10. Change directories to WIN95.
11. Highlight the corresponding Eltron printer model.
12. Click the Next button.
13. Highlight the corresponding printer port.
14. Click the Configure Port button to configure your port settings (refer to your printer manual for more details).
15. Click the Next button.
16. Click the Next button (do not change the printer name).
17. Choose No (do not print a test page).

1. Connect the printer to the computer via the USB port (Windows will detect new hardware).
2. You will be prompted on the USB Directory to install the USB Driver.
3. Browse on CD drive for USB Driver files.
4. Install the Printer Driver.
5. Install the USB Driver.
6. Install the Port Monitor.
7. Reboot the Computer.
8. In the driver, go to the Printer Properties.
9. Check if it works: Go to Tools Enter the command V You should get a response via a Message Box.

1. Copy the file to correct location:
   If you have a Windows 98 or Me operating system, copy the Color Utility to the C:/Windows/System/Color folder.
   If you have a Windows 2000 operating system, copy the Color Utility to the C:/Wnnt/System32/Spool/Drivers/Color folder.
2. Go to the Start button on the taskbar.
3. Highlight Settings.
4. And choose, Printers.
5. Right click on the Eltron printer icon and select Properties.
6. Click on the Color Management tab.
7. Click the "Add..." button, and select the Color_matching1.icm from the Color folder where you saved it.

1. Choose the Main group in Program Manager.
2. Open the Print Manager Icon.
3. From the Options menu, choose Printer Setup.
4. Choose the Add button from the Printers dialog box.
5. In the List of Printer box, choose the Install Unlisted or Update printer entry.
6. Choose the Install button.
7. Insert the Driver Disk in drive a:.
8. Change directories to WIN3X.
9. Choose the OK button in the Install Driver dialog box.
10. Select the printer that you wish to install from the list of printers in the Add Unlisted or Updated Printer dialog box, and choose the OK button.
