AMC MODEL 151 Smart Card Reader / Encoder
RS232 family of readers which reads/writes ISO 7816 asynchronous smart cards and meets the VISA, Mastercard and Europay (VME) requirements.
DESIGN FEATURES:
* Host/Reader communications are standard ASCII characters. The reader provides all signals and LOW level communications required by the card (Protocol T=0 supported).
* Two Host/Reader communication protocols are available, AMC standard and an extended command set of TLP224 Protocol.
* A development kit is available which includes software and cards. Contact the factory for details.
* Two host controlled LED'S for visual indication are standard.
* The reader can be hand-held or affixed to a terminal or desktop pedestal
